I can remember a time back in my small Texas town when you were actually discouraged from doing something different from the grain or artistic. – Aren’t they are both one in the same?
Growing up with nearly half a dozen other kids, relatives and extended family members around was fun, though very stressful and competitive.
There was really no reason to be competitive when you are selective about how you engage your daily habits, traits or competencies.
Oftentimes kids are discouraged from doing things that come to them naturally and these things can be as simple as wanting to explore and discover their difference when compared to others versus their similarities.
Growing up with a different mindset, while trying to blend into a group setting, is never easy or free of challenges. Some normal and some abnormal, invasive or oftentimes unprompted challenges are not acceptable and should be addressed on every level.
How many of us have held ourselves back simply because of the menacing, condescending spirit of uneasiness and covetousness that we are exposed to and experience for NO constructive purpose or reason? You guessed it, JEALOUSY! You are being yourself and other people cannot handle what you are doing when you are being yourself, being happy and MOST IMPORTANTLY- Some people are uncomfortable with you being comfortable in your own skin.
You were painting your heart out and made the mistake of uncovering your work to family or friends and instead of receiving encouragement, you received negative, inappropriate comments about how much time you spend on your artwork. Or, let’s say you created a wonderful display of cookies and cakes and placed your baked goods on beautiful, colorful, exotic plates to share with friends and family only to be reprimanded for baking sugary temptations for them, without worrying about their sugar consumption.
They call you a temptress, instead of a gifted baker. Oh, but wait, they also insulted your plates for being of foreign origin and for your lack of supporting the need to manufacture, buy or appreciate American products built by American industries. ALL OF these events and occasions are NOT cause for negotiation, reprimand or humiliation.
NO! These beautiful, heartfelt contributions are gifts made or created as an outward expression of your singular, innate, internal creative imagination. Your minds creations are made manifest from feeling and thought into 3-d reality. Standing ovation- Hands clapping! WoW, you are an awesome and innovative human being!
Realize when you have had enough discouragement and decide that living your life and being engaged RIGHT NOW is the perfect time to unhinge the ropes of jealousy that have bound you for far too long!
Loosen your ability to design your creations and set forth the planet with a blaze of your created innovation(s) and watch yourself create more and more mind-blowing masterpieces!
Improve or hone your talents and skills and watch as you feel better by initiating MORE self-appreciation you exude wonderful self-worth and that is something that the selfish cannot take away from you or from me.
Self-esteem is not wrong, it is what gets and gives you and me motivation, a great work-ethic and hones our remarkable, marketable and favorable way of accomplishing goals and being successful, proactive and phenomenal human beings!
Your self-esteem contributes to humanity, raises yours and the collective/connective vibration and invites more great energy exchange.
You are energetically unleashing your potential by showing how positively you esteem your efforts and be apprised that you deserve the accolades that follow.
Having a noose of jealousy around your neck only serves the purpose of deluding others about how truly powerful you are. Disavow jealousy and its harmful energy, don’t let another persons low self-esteem inhibit your ability to shine. By being your very best personal best in every endeavor and achievement you will generate a positive trajectory, at least while on this plane of existence. Don’t pay attention to jealous people, actions or vibrations.
It’s like tying your own hand behind your own back. Loosen that noose of jealousy that binds you!
Jealousy, is corrosive, destructive energy does not and never has belonged to you and it is up to you to reveal and redeem the wonderful person that you are and the many gifts that have been hijacked, deluded, hidden, repackaged or copied by appeasing undeserving or delusional fools that can’t ever hold a candle to you!
It’s time to get real with yourself!
If nobody gives you the appreciation and encouragement that you deserve, then it is up to you to do it for yourself!
Take photos of your cookie or cake display and enjoy looking at your own hard work, if only for your own self-benefit.
Let your own soul beam with encouragement and pride for a job that took your time, effort, money or innate skill or valiant talent.
Be true to yourself by simply being you.
Do what you enjoy doing and be the very best at what you enjoy doing the most!
You are a wonderful, unique, talented, individual and simply put: Yahweh broke the mold after he made you, so you and everything you do is one-of-a-kind, unique and astounding, to say the least!
When we enjoy doing something artistic or creative and other people cannot handle our differences, and worse, they start trying to tear you down, it is simply their problem and not yours.
Don’t close yourself off and seal the doors of your own creativity to appease anybody, not even friends, co-workers, stalkers, plagiarists or family. They need to create their own light and make it shine and not dim the glow of yours. JUST SAYING, and that’s my two cents for the day!
